Cat5e and Cat6 can be used for a mutitude of different services from distributing High Definition TV signals from Sky Q or Virgin TV, to connecting CCTV cameras to hard dive recorders, from hard wired internet connections to upgrading Wi-Fi connectivity throughout a property.
